Lanaudière region

Hiking

In the Matawinie region it is a hiking paradise. The trails in the region offer several difficulties, but here is one of our favorites!

  • Swaggin St-Côme trail: Intermediate level of difficulty, over 8 km, around 4.5 hours
  • Regional fall-to-bull park, this latter offers hikers six (6) kilometers of hiking trails and an 18m drop.
  • The waterfall Mont-à-Barely-et-des-Dalles Ste-Beatrix, Sainte-Mélanie and Saint-Jean-de Matha: Level of difficulty Easy on 17Km about 45 min.
  • The Seven Falls Park in Saint Zénon: Intermediate to difficult level of difficulty, several routes available.
  • Le Parc régional des Chutes-Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles at Saint-béatrix, Sainte-Mélanie and Saint-Jean-de Matha: Level of difficulty Easy on 17Km about 45 min.
  • The Forest Ouareau Park has a mountain range incorporating a network of multifunctional trails (walking, cycling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) of 120 km
  • To contemplate the Ouareau River, what better than a stop at the Parc des Chutes-Dorwin. You will discover magnificent falls, 60 feet high.
